Gone to Lunch (Africa) or should it be Out of Africa for a few months

Hey, I'm closing shop for a few months as I'll be leaving for Kenya on Sept 12 until about Christmas. But check out my Kenya/Africa blog - http://projectskenya.blogspot.com/ that I hope to update a couple times a month when I get on the internet. Wow, it's going to be a real exciting Gig. I'm looking forward to volunteering to help the poor people of a small village. But it's also a bit of a bitter sweet time as my wife and I are going our separate ways. We have very different interests. She likes more sedate and cerebral things while I'm still a kid at heart and like adventure and doing ridiculous things! We care and support each other in our interests. But hey we don't want to prevent each other's chance for future happiness so we're giving each other freedom. Life is too short so if she can find happiness without me who am I to stand in her way. So like everything in life, things happen so a person has to just handle it somehow. But it's still a very sentimental time as we've sold our home so I'm pretty well homeless (in Seattle or wherever I end up). But it's only a house so I'll find somewhere else to live later..But right now I've got villagers, with less than me, to help! As my main objective has always been to help the villagers of Kanyawegi, a small village in the far west of Kenya. But we'll be doing some fun things too like doing a safari and going to the island of Zanzibar to relax. A couple of us are planning to climb/hike Mt. Kilimanjaro while in Africa. It's going to be a real challenge as Mt.Kilimanjaro is the highest peak in Africa at 5,895 meters (19,340 ft). Crowned by eternal snows, Kilimanjaro is an overwhelming presence on the African landscape (local people call it the "Home of God"). To climb Kilimanjaro and stand on the roof of Africa (and one of the world's seven summits!) is a dream of every adventurer Kilimanjaro's 19,340-foot high summit so climbing Kilimanjaro is a true Mountain Travel adventure.f
Kenya will also let us see a lot of wild life. We'll check out the Serengetti for animal and birds of Africa. We hope to see a lion pride capturing a Buffalo on the Masa Mara in Kenya. Tree lions, giraffe, elephants, hippos, exotic birds abound.
